So, today I found something really interesting. It might blow away your mind but it’s a must read, must watch sort of thing.

So what is it about… It’s the infinite hotel paradox.

In the 1920s, a German mathematician named David Hilbert introduced a famous thought experiment to show the world that how hard it is to understand the concept of infinity. Imagine a hotel with infinite number of rooms. Easy to comprehend.. Right?

You might be wrong. Now, imagine an infinitely long bus with a countably infinite number of passengers shows up to rent rooms at the hotel.

The night manager’s head has already blown away.. and what about you???

Jeff Dekofsky solves this mind-breaking lodging problem using the Hilbert’s paradox.

Check it out, how..

Would you like to be the maid at the infinite hotel?
